The Townsville Fashion Festival have created a walk through memory lane exhibition to acknowledge the impact fashion has had on the Townsville community. This exhibition will be held at Castletown and the CBD starting from the 14 th of May as a lead up to the Townsville Fashion Festival. The T150 is a nomadic arts exhibition of clothing and accessories presented in both existing condition or photographical form. The oldest garment is a Black silk full skirt, with silk and lace bodice, made in Charters Towers in 1900. Celebrating fashion, celebrating local.
Proudly supported by Townsville City Council, Townsville Museum & Historical Society, NQ Opera Musical Theatre, Retro 157 and many kind donations.
